Job summary

Liebherr Group in Madrid invites an experienced SAP Supply Chain Team Manager to lead our global SAP capabilities across procurement, manufacturing, inventory management and logistics. You will build and guide a high-performing team of SAP functional consultants, drive fit-to-template delivery, and ensure efficient Level 2/3 support while coordinating with Solution Architects and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP Supply Chain delivery and application management across Procurement, Manufacturing, Inventory Management, and Logistics, aligned with global S/4HANA template.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of SAP functional consultants, ensuring effective resource allocation and knowledge sharing.
• Oversee fit-to-template activities, configuration, testing, go-live, and transition to operations, ensuring business requirements meet global standards.
• Ensure quality across SIT, UAT, and defect resolution, maintaining end-to-end process integrity.
• Oversee cutover, go-live, and Hypercare activities, ensuring readiness and knowledge transfer to support.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Process Owners, and AMS to ensure integrated solutions and reliable operations.
• Monitor team performance, delivery commitments, SLAs, risks, and dependencies, driving corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement of SAP Supply Chain solutions and processes, with documentation using JIRA/Confluence/SAP Cloud ALM.
• Travel up to 30% to Liebherr sites worldwide to support implementations and align stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced SAP Supply Chain Management Team Manager (m/f/d) to lead our SAP Supply Chain capabilities across implementation and operations, based in our IT Shared Service Centre in Madrid.

In this role, you will lead the teams responsible for the implementation, support, and continuous improvement of SAP Procurement, Manufacturing, Inventory Management, and Logistics solutions . You will ensure successful delivery across global S/4HANA rollout waves while establishing sustainable application support and maintenance capabilities as our transformation progresses.

You will be responsible for building and developing a team of SAP functional consultants, overseeing solution delivery from fit-to-template through go-live, and ensuring effective Level 2 and Level 3 support following implementation. Working closely with Solution Architects, Business Process Owners, other SAP teams, and Application Management Services, you will drive solution quality, operational stability, and continuous improvement. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead a global SAP Supply Chain team , combining people leadership, transformation delivery, and long-term application management within Liebherr's international IT organization.

The working location for this position will be in Madrid city, where we operate a hybrid model, requiring at least 40% of the working time on-site on a weekly basis.

• Lead SAP Supply Chain delivery and application management across Procurement, Manufacturing, Inventory Management, and Logistics, ensuring alignment with Liebherr's global S/4HANA template.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of SAP functional consultants, ensuring effective resource allocation, delivery quality, knowledge sharing, and professional development.
• Oversee fit-to-template activities, solution configuration, and implementation, ensuring business requirements are addressed within global template standards.
• Ensure quality across system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution, maintaining end-to-end process integrity.
• Oversee cutover, go-live, and Hypercare activities, ensuring operational readiness, structured knowledge transfer, and successful transition into application support.
• Ensure effective Level 2 and Level 3 functional application support, coordinating incident resolution, problem management, maintenance activities, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Business Process Owners, other SAP functional teams, and Application Management Services to ensure integrated solutions and reliable operations.
• Monitor team performance, delivery commitments, service levels, risks, and dependencies, proactively addressing issues and driving corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement of SAP Supply Chain solutions, delivery and support processes, ensuring effective documentation and knowledge management using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and SAP Cloud ALM.
• Travel (up to 30%) to Liebherr sites worldwide to support implementation, operational transitions, and stakeholder alignment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in SAP Supply Chain consulting, implementation, or application management, preferably within SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA implementations and supporting business-critical SAP applications in international environments.
• Strong functional understanding of SAP Procurement (MM), Manufacturing (PP), Inventory Management, and Logistics, including integration with Finance, Sales, and Service processes.
• Proven experience leading and developing SAP functional teams, including people management, resource planning, performance management, and coaching.
• Experience across the SAP application lifecycle, including fit-to-template, configuration, testing, go-live, Hypercare, and transition to operations.
• Experience with SAP Application Management Services (AMS), including Level 2/Level 3 support, incident and problem management, and service improvement.
• Ability to balance business requirements, global template standards, solution quality, and long-term application maintainability.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across business, IT, and external service providers.
• Structured, proactive, and results-oriented mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and experience in international environments.
• Fluent in English; German or Spanish is an advantage.
