Job summary

RED Global is seeking an experienced SAP Service Manager to join on an initial 6-month contract, primarily remote from Spain with 2-3 days per month onsite in Barcelona. You will own end-to-end SAP service delivery and act as the bridge between business stakeholders, SAP teams and external partners.

This role focuses on performance, availability, and continuous improvement of SAP services, coordinating Basis, infrastructure, and development teams, managing incidents and changes, and reporting

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage incidents, problems and changes.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end delivery of SAP services.
• Serve as primary service management contact for stakeholders and customers.
• Manage incidents, problems, service requests, and escalations within SLAs.
• Coordinate SAP technical and functional teams (Basis, infra, apps).
• Monitor service performance, availability and KPI/SLA compliance.
• Lead major incident management with clear communication.
• Drive problem management and root-cause analysis to prevent Recurrence.
• Coordinate SAP changes, releases, upgrades and maintenance.
• Manage relationships with external SAP partners and service providers.
• Produce regular service reports and communicate performance to senior stakeholders.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Service Manager to join our team on an initial 6-month contract, working predominantly remotely from Spain with 2-3 days per month onsite in Barcelona.

This is a key service management role, responsible for ensuring the effective delivery, performance and continuous improvement of SAP services across the business. You will act as a key point of contact between business stakeholders, internal SAP teams and third-party suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end delivery of SAP services.
• Act as the primary service management contact for business stakeholders and key customers.
• Manage incidents, problems, service requests and escalations, ensuring issues are resolved within agreed SLAs.
• Coordinate SAP technical and functional teams, including Basis, infrastructure, application support and development teams.
• Monitor service performance, availability, KPIs and SLA compliance.
• Lead major incident management and ensure effective communication throughout critical incidents.
• Drive problem management and root-cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Coordinate and oversee SAP changes, releases, upgrades and maintenance activities.
• Manage relationships with external SAP partners and service providers.
• Produce regular service reports and communicate service performance to senior stakeholders
