Job summary

Vortech PCI Group is seeking an experienced SAP SD/LE Project Lead to own the Sales and Logistics area within our SAP service, supporting a global consumer goods environment with strong international retail and e-commerce presence.

The role combines SAP SD/LE functional expertise, business analysis and AMS service coordination, requiring regular English communication with international business teams and coordination with the ABAP development team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as SAP SD Consultant
• Hands-on SAP LE — deliveries, shipping, transportation
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation or rollout
• Experience leading AMS service or coordination with ABAP developers
• Fluent English with ability to work with international stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP SD/LE AMS including demand prioritisation, SLA monitoring, incidents, and client reporting
• Act as IT Business Analyst gathering requirements and proposing SAP-based solutions
• Design and configure end-to-end sales and logistics processes (Deliveries, Shipping, Transportation)
• Define functional specs for enhancements and coordinate with ABAP team
• Coordinate testing, acceptance criteria and production releases
• Manage integrations including IDocs and file-based uploads with web channels and Finance

Job description

Vortech is looking for an experienced SAP SD/LE Project Lead to take ownership of the Sales and Logistics area within the SAP service of a global company in the consumer goods sector, with a strong international retail and e-commerce presence.

This is a stable, long-term service covering international initiatives across sales, integrations, supply chain and logistics. The successful candidate will act as the main SAP SD/LE functional reference for business stakeholders and will coordinate the ABAP development team.

The role combines SAP SD/LE functional expertise, business analysis and AMS service coordination, requiring regular interaction with international business teams in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP SD/LE Application Management Service (AMS), including demand prioritisation, SLA monitoring, critical incident management and client reporting.
• Act as an IT Business Analyst for international business teams, gathering requirements, proposing solutions based on SAP standard functionality and validating the proposed approach.
• Design and configure end-to-end sales and logistics processes, including:
• Deliveries
• Shipping
• Transportation
• Define functional specifications for system enhancements and coordinate their implementation with the ABAP development team.
• Define acceptance criteria and coordinate functional testing and production releases.
• Manage integrations and interfaces, including IDocs and file-based mass uploads, with web channels, Finance and other systems.
• Coordinate dependencies with SAP MM, FICO, integration and business teams.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience as an SAP SD Consultant.
• Hands-on experience with SAP LE, particularly deliveries, shipping and transportation processes.
• Experience participating in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation or rollout, rather than exclusively working in support environments.
• Experience leading or coordinating an AMS service or technical/functional team, including demand prioritisation, SLA management and coordination with ABAP developers.
• Strong knowledge of:
• IDocs
• SAP SD-FI integration
• Ability to work autonomously with business stakeholders, from requirements gathering through solution definition, configuration and testing.
• C1-level English, with the ability to work daily with international business stakeholders.
• Availability to attend the Madrid office an average of 6 days per month, according to the team's established calendar.
• Permission to work in Spain.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, including implementations or migrations.
• Experience in retail, consumer goods, cosmetics or e-commerce environments.
• Knowledge of WM/EWM or SAP SD-MM integration.
• SAP SD or S/4HANA Sales certification.

Working conditions

• Location: Madrid, Spain.
• Working model: Hybrid, with an average of 6 days per month in the Madrid office according to the team calendar.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00, with flexibility.
• Contract: Permanent contract.
• Start date: Immediate / as soon as possible.
