Embat in Madrid is seeking a SAP S/4HANA Product Owner to become the product and functional reference for all SAP integrations across Business One, ByDesign and S/4HANA. You will operate at the crossroads of Product Management, SAP Functional Consulting and Project Management, shaping products, solving client problems and driving integrations from idea to implementation in a hybrid setup.

Formación

• 2–3 years of experience in the SAP ecosystem, ideally in S/4HANA environments.
• Functional knowledge of SAP Finance, Accounting and/or Treasury modules (FI, TR, FICO).
• Experience with SAP PI, SAP PO or SAP CPI.
• Experience managing projects involving multiple external teams.
• Strong communication with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English.

Responsabilidades

• Be the product reference for SAP integrations: B1, ByDesign, S/4HANA and cloud editions.
• Identify problems, define requirements and prioritise the roadmap for each ERP connector.
• Collaborate with external development partners to align specs.
• Manage the full lifecycle of each connector: development, deployment, feature updates, optimization.
• Act as primary contact for SAP ERP connectors support.
• Analyze incidents, root causes and escalate when necessary.
• Work with Customer Success to ensure an outstanding client experience.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate into clear project specs.
• Coordinate multiple external teams, ensuring deadlines and quality.
• Lead testing and integration processes for new connectors.
• Support SAP demos and pre-sales activities.

The Role

We are looking for a SAP S/4HANA Product Owner to become the product and functional reference for all of Embat's SAP integrations.

This is a role at the intersection of Product Management, SAP Functional Consulting and Project Management. You won't be leaving the SAP ecosystem behind — you'll use your SAP expertise to shape products, solve client problems and drive integrations from idea to implementation.

We currently manage integrations with SAP Business One, SAP Business ByDesign and SAP S/4HANA, including both Public and Private Cloud editions. We're looking for someone with a strong background in S/4HANA, the SAP environment used by many of the largest companies.

Your three key dimensions

• Product Owner: Identify problems, prioritize opportunities and define solutions that create real client impact.
• Functional Consultant: Use your knowledge of SAP modules and processes to determine what is technically and functionally viable.
• Project Manager: Coordinate multiple external teams, manage timelines and drive implementations from start to finish.

What will you do?

Product Management

• Be the product reference for all SAP integrations: Business One, Business ByDesign, S/4HANA and its cloud editions.
• Identify problems, define requirements and prioritize the roadmap for each ERP connector.
• Collaborate with external development partners to keep technical and business specifications aligned.
• Manage the full lifecycle of each connector: development, deployment, feature updates and continuous optimization.
• Act as the primary point of contact for technical support related to ERP connectors.
• Analyze and resolve client-reported incidents, identifying root causes and escalating when necessary.
• Work closely with Customer Success to ensure an outstanding client experience.

Requirements & Project Coordination

• Gather requirements from internal stakeholders and clients and translate them into clear project specifications.
• Coordinate multiple external teams working simultaneously, ensuring effective communication, deadlines and quality deliverables.
• Lead testing and integration processes for new connector developments.
• Provide SAP expertise during demos and commercial proposals.
• Support client onboarding and ensure successful connector implementations.

What does success look like?

First 3 months: Become the technical and product reference for Embat's SAP integrations, with a strong understanding of each connector and its current state.

First 6 months: Reduce operational friction in external partner projects through clear processes and structured communication. Define and start tracking success metrics for each ERP connector.

First 12 months: Contribute to building Embat's internal IP in SAP integrations, drive continuous improvements based on data, and become a key reference for SAP during pre-sales and client onboarding.

What are we looking for?

• Full professional proficiency in Spanish and English.
• Based in Madrid and open to a hybrid working model.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Business Informatics or a related technical field.
• Experience with SAP Business One or SAP Business ByDesign.
• Knowledge of REST APIs.
• Technical background or experience with SAP development.
