A global engineering firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead teams in implementing SAP S/4HANA ERP solutions. The role involves managing projects from design through to maintenance, ensuring effective communication and organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience, including 7 years in SAP ERP implementations within manufacturing, and strong leadership skills to manage large teams. The position is located in Madrid, Spain.

Formación

• 10 years of experience in Information Systems, IT Project Management, or related fields.
• Experience leading teams of at least 10 members.
• Familiarity with SAP’s project methodology.
• Complete lifecycle experience from requirements gathering to production support.

A successful candidate in this position will lead team(s) of employees and consultants to implement SAP S/4HANA ERP solutions at various Flowserve plants and locations globally. The scope includes end-to-end implementations, point CIP solutions, technical upgrades, and module implementations. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills and a strong desire to deliver results while managing multiple projects simultaneously. This is a hands-on project management role requiring participation in all project phases: design, development, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.

In this role, you will report to the ERP 2.0 Program Lead.

Your profile :

• 10 years of experience in roles such as Information Systems Manager, IT Project Manager, Application Developer, Systems Analyst, or related fields.
• Experience leading teams of at least 10 members.
• At least 7 years of SAP ERP implementation experience, with 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Complete lifecycle experience from requirements gathering to production support.
• Minimum of 3 years as a hands-on ERP Project Manager.
• Familiarity with SAP’s project methodology.
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical business personnel.
• Degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage matrix teams and proactively resolve issues.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional matrix environment.
• Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Expertise in Change Request Management, preferably using SAP Solution Manager (CHARM).
• Experience with SAP upgrades, enhancements, and SAP Notes.

Your role :

• Manage and support ERP implementations, designing and delivering business and technology solutions for Flowserve.
• Oversee project risk, economics, planning, budgeting, and ensure stakeholder buy-in at all levels.
• Coordinate daily interactions with business management and sponsors.
• Lead, coach, and supervise project teams and consultants.
• Ensure project governance and promote standardization in SAP processes and implementation methods.
