The Opportunity

Here lies an opportunity for an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Consultant to join a leading, internationally focussed business in global payroll and human capital management professional services. You will provide critical AMS support to some of Strada\'s most valued payroll customers. Over time, you may have the opportunity to grow your career by cross-training into a Functional Consultant role, gaining exposure to SuccessFactors and the opportunity of a SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) certification.

Role Responsibilities – Support

• Providing application support consultancy through advice, guidance, and appropriate technical activities
• Managing tickets after receiving functional analysis and guidance / coaching on the technical way to implement IT applications
• Providing documentation (both technical and functional) on issues handled
• Managing daily priorities and assigned tickets, and ensuring deadlines are met; regularly report on status and progress to the AMS Cluster Lead
• Maintaining internal and external contact and communication channels at appropriate level. Communicate status, resolution, and root cause of assigned issues
• Understand the general flows in HR and the SAP HR architecture

Main Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high quality solutions through system configuration that meets overall business requirements
• Perform configuration for HCM modules of HR : Payroll (evaluation & schemas)
• Act as the HR Services lead for SAP Payroll Management development, defect identification, and defect resolution
• Analysis of payroll / time schemas to identify root cause and solution of pay & time discrepancies
• Resolve complex defects related to Overtime, social security calculation, legal reporting, allowances, sickness, taxes, posting, payslips and other UK payroll configurations
• Participates in SAP HR projects as an integral part of a cross-functional team to support the delivery of HR Services
• Ensure time and attendance data integrity
• Hands on experience on UK Payroll – Schemas, PCRs, wage type creation, basic pay configuration, etc.
• Troubleshoot and resolve HCM & Payroll problems / failures for both external and internal customers and update ticket logging systems in a timely and accurate manner
• Generate easy-to-maintain, bug-free code and customizing respecting Strada best practices
• HRSP Implementation
• Operate required system tests using either provided or self generated test data

Consulting Role – Solution Design

• Support required workshops as laid out by the methodology, ensuring all decisions are accurately captured and recorded in relevant workbooks
• Undertake configuration as per the agreed design and direction of ECP Lead Consultant
• Define and document the overall configuration of the SuccessFactors module(s), balancing business, technical and functional requirements and constraints, and ensuring compatibility with different solution components
• At project end, ensure successful transition to maintenance teams, either Strada or other
• Support project resources in defining solutions when challenges arise to ensure delivery on time and within budget

Data Migration

• Organize and support the data mapping with client and implementation teams (Strada or Third Party Providers)
• Ensure the client fulfils their data management responsibilities, including data cleansing and transformation
• Be familiar with data security procedures and requirements of both Strada and the client, and ensure these are respected as part of the process

Integrations

• Support the Technical resources in defining integration requirements
• Support in the delivery of integration solution workshops to clients and the completion of required documentation

Test Activities

• Carry out Strada testing and ensure all agreed issues are corrected prior to customer testing

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, systems, and legislation in the UK and / or Ireland
• Maintenance, troubleshooting, configuration and support of SAP Payroll systems (SAP HCM or ECP)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for implementing and improving payroll systems
• Payroll systems knowledge and experience (SuccessFactors ECP is a plus)
• Systems implementation experience beneficial
• Desire to become a subject-matter expert on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) modules
• Candidates located outside the UK are welcome to apply, but should be able to support UK business hours and working days
• Knowledge of euHReka solution would be an advantage
