Position:

SAP HCM PY Senior Consultant

Location:

Spain, Portugal (remote)

Overview:

Your candidacy is currently being considered for a position within an Alight Inc group company. Please note that Alight has announced plans to divest its Payroll & Professional Services business to HIG Capital. After the transaction, this role will be with the new Payroll & Professional Services owned by HIG Capital ('Divested Group'). Your Mission:

The SAP HCM Consultant will serve as a SAP Payroll Expert for the HR Service Delivery Payroll Team, focusing on French accounts. Responsibilities include executing payroll and time processes accurately and timely, evaluating payroll schemas, managing overtime, contributions, taxes, legal reporting (DSN), and other post-payroll processes. Configuration tasks include SAP HCM & Payroll customization based on business requirements such as schemas, PCRs, wage types, and basic pay settings.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement high-quality system solutions meeting business needs.
2. Configure SAP HCM modules, especially Payroll schemas and evaluation.
3. Serve as the Single Point of Contact (Spoc) for assigned accounts, coordinating and providing technical support.
4. Lead SAP Payroll Management development, defect analysis, and resolution.
5. Analyze payroll schemas to troubleshoot discrepancies.
6. Resolve complex payroll defects related to overtime, social security, legal reporting (DSN), allowances, taxes, and specific French payroll configurations.
7. Participate in SAP HR projects supporting HR Service delivery.
8. Demonstrate extensive SAP HCM & Payroll configuration expertise.
9. Hands-on experience with French Payroll schemas, DSN, PCRs, wage types, and basic pay configurations.
10. Troubleshoot and resolve HCM & Payroll issues, ensuring timely ticket updates.

Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with a technical focus or equivalent experience.
• Proven SAP Payroll Management experience.
• Experience with SAP HCM in French Payroll.
• Knowledge of SAP HCM PA/OM is advantageous.
• Experience with SAP ABAP is highly valuable.
• Ability to handle confidential information effectively.
• Proficiency in SAP, MS Office (Excel, Access, Word), and reporting tools.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
