We are looking for an SAP Expert Engineer specializing in SAP Basis / SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Administration.

Role Mission

You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, designing solutions to deliver a resilient, compliant, and high-performance SAP environment, and contributing to global IT projects, including our transformation to SAP S/4HANA. Your expertise will support large and complex SAP implementations, designing and architecting solutions to ensure a resilient, compliant, and high-performing SAP landscape.

What your responsibilities will be

• Providing direction and overseeing all SAP Basis / SAP BTP operations.
• Collaborating with and supporting a team of SAP experts, providing guidance and oversight.
• Designing and implementing high-performance technical solutions in SAP Basis / BTP.
• Maintaining expert-level knowledge in SAP Basis and BTP, ensuring adherence to best practices, and overseeing system upgrades, installations, and configurations.
• Administering and optimizing SAP landscapes for performance, security, and stability.
• Promptly troubleshooting and resolving SAP-related issues, ensuring compliance with company policies through regular system audits.
• Ensuring all solutions within your technology area are secure and compliant with internal standards and external regulations.

Who you are

To succeed in this role, you must be capable of performing each essential duty satisfactorily. The following qualifications are required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of proven experience in SAP Basis and SAP BTP administration.
• Expert knowledge of SAP BASIS, HANA, RedHat (preferably Pacemaker experience).
• Deep expertise in SAP system administration, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAP BTP.
• Experience with S/4HANA, including Fiori, embedded gateway, and technical conversions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for complex technical issues.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a forward-thinking approach to technological innovation.
