Job Description : Global Director for Process Applications (SAP) - Chemical Industry

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to fill the role of Global Director for Process Applications, especially SAP , in the chemical industry.

In this critical position, you will oversee the strategic direction, implementation, and delivery of services, along with the ongoing management of SAP S4 systems and Process Applications across our global organization. Your leadership will be key in managing internal and external process application consultants, optimizing SAP S4 technologies to drive growth, enhance operational efficiency with our outsourcing partner, and ensure seamless integration with our existing SAP S4 IT infrastructure. Proven experience in managing SAP S4 application management services and SAP S4 Basis support with outsourcing partners is essential.

Responsibilities :

• Strategic Planning : Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy for our SAP S4 landscape, aligning with business objectives and growth initiatives. Define goals, KPIs, and monitor progress.
• Team Leadership : Build and mentor a high-performing global team of SAP professionals, providing strategic guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Systems Integration and Application Consolidation : Drive integration of SAP S4 with other enterprise applications like CRM Salesforce, Workday, and SAP Datasphere BI. Architect scalable IT solutions to support organizational needs.
• Governance and Compliance : Establish and enforce IT governance policies with our outsourcing partner to ensure security, integrity, and compliance of SAP systems and data. Manage budgets and controls.
• Performance Optimization : Regularly assess and optimize SAP processes, address bottlenecks, and ensure system reliability. Manage relationships with SAP and SaaS providers, negotiate contracts, SLAs, and review performance.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years in IT leadership, focused on SAP management in an outsourced environment.
• Proven leadership of global SAP teams and successful large-scale SAP projects.
• Deep knowledge of SAP S4 products, modules, and solutions, including SAP Data Sphere, SuccessFactors, GTS, EHS.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant SAP certifications are highly desirable.
• Understanding of IT governance frameworks and chemical industry standards.
