rindus, together with our partner in Düsseldorf, is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Málaga-based team. You will develop and enhance SAP Commerce, Java backends and REST APIs, owning defined work packages and aligning solutions with business stakeholders.

You'll operate in an international, agile environment, contribute to backlog management, and drive quality through scalable microservices, CI/CD pipelines and cloud architectures such as Azure and Kubernetes.

Formación

• Several years of senior-level Java backend development experience.
• Strong SAP Commerce development experience, including data modeling and extending business logic.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices and cloud architectures.
• Experience in agile environments with backlog management and writing user stories.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across international teams.

We are collaborating to improve their main product channel, their e-commerce. With the company headquarters in Düsseldorf (Germany), you will work in a distributed team from our office in Málaga (Spain).

What you'll be doing

About the Role

For a software project in the e-commerce and marketplace domain focused on product data quality and validation, we are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong advisory and coordination skills. The role focuses on developing and enhancing SAP Commerce, Java backends and REST APIs.

The person independently owns defined work packages, designs technical solutions and aligns them with business teams and project stakeholders. We are looking for a strong communicator who combines technical depth with business understanding and a consultative approach.

What you'll bring

Technical Skills (Required)

• Several years of senior-level experience in Java backend development and solid knowledge of Spring Boot
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Commerce development, including extending business logic, data modeling and integrating external systems
• Experience contributing to or managing backlogs, including requirements analysis, prioritization and writing user stories
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in an international, agile environment, including refinement, sprint and release planning, and daily stand-ups
• Solid experience across the full software development lifecycle, particularly in designing, implementing and testing REST APIs and working with headless/API-driven architectures
• Experience designing, developing and working with microservices in complex cloud architectures, e.g. Azure, Spring Boot, Kubernetes and REST, as well as working with CI/CD pipelines
• Experience connecting and integrating SAP Commerce through REST APIs, e.g. SAP Commerce OCC APIs

Technical Skills (Nice-to-have)

• Knowledge of frontend development with React and TypeScript and integration with REST APIs
• Experience with the SAP Commerce Promotion Engine and Drools

• Confident, professional presence when engaging with business and project stakeholders
