The role:
We are looking for a SAP BTP Solution Architect to join our IT Platforms SAP Landscape department, under the supervision and guidance of SAP BTP Platform Manager based in Barcelona, Spain.
This role is heavily SAP BTP Security & Compliance focused.
The SAP BTP Architect will work closely with Nestlé product teams, IT Platform Risk & Compliance team and security experts. Your primary responsibility will be to assess all resilience, security, risks and compliance aspects of our SAP BTP applications, ensuring that when they are presented at our architecture review meetings (ARM), all these items have been thoroughly considered and addressed.
What you’ll do:
As SAP BTP Solution Architect you will:
- Focus on SAP BTP Security:Utilize your knowledge of defined reference architectures, technology trends, and implementation experience to create secure architectural designs for Nestlé's BTP solutions. This includes contributing to the roadmap and translating business needs into secure solution blueprints.
- Define SAP BTP Security Guidelines:Collaborate with the Nestlé Security and Risk & Compliance teams to establish SAP BTP guidelines, standards, and solution patterns. Ensure that product-based decisions align with the enterprise's secure architecture vision.
- Supervise Design Execution:Oversee the execution of secure designs within the product scope while collaborating with Nestlé Product teams. In this role, you will take ownership of the security aspects of architectural specifications for solutions entering BTP, including reviewing SAP BTP Cloud Services for their readiness for secure consumption and writing own how they will be consumed.
- Monitor Current Solutions Portfolio:Assess the current SAP BTP solutions portfolio to identify gaps in resilience, security, risk, and compliance. Address these gaps starting at the solution planning stage for new SAP BTP solutions, regardless of their complexity.
- Ensure Remedial Actions:Ensure that identified gaps in SAP BTP resilience, security, risk, and compliance are documented and that appropriate remedial actions are taken. This may involve aligning new internal processes with various Nestlé teams, requesting fixes for SAP BTP custom extensions from Product Owners (and providing support on security aspects), or liaising with SAP for product improvements that need to be addressed at the source.
- Enable Secure AI Features:Ensure that SAP BTP-based AI features are enabled and function securely, always adhering to legal and privacy requirements.

Minimum qualifications:
- Academical background in Computer Science or similar.
- +4 years of experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP/SCP) as a SAP BTP Solution Architect and designing solutions using SAP BTP Cloud Services.
- Knowledge on SAP BTP Security, Risk & Compliance related components, like IAS, IPS and Identity Management as a whole.
- Familiarity with industry security standards and protocols
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and secure cloud architecture
- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks associated with application development and deployment
- Experience with integrating security practices into the DevOps pipeline, ensuring continuous security throughout the development lifecycle
- Knowledge of incident response procedures and the ability to respond to and manage security incidents effectively
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with product teams, security experts, risk and compliance and other stakeholders as well as long term/ short term project management skills.
- Commitment to staying updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to ensure the organization's security posture remains robust
- Fluent in English both oral and written.

- Have experience with SAP Joule & Business AI
- Have worked in a global environment and with virtual teams
- Other language would be a plus
