Right now, we are looking for a SAP BTP Development Architect + Clean Core ABAP Developer to join our EY GDS Consulting Services team focused on providing cutting-edge IT solutions for major market players in the EMEA region.

The opportunity

You will work using best practices in SAP development and integration, delivering business advisory services in transformation and enterprise management systems. Your responsibilities include implementing processes in Cloud, Hybrid, and on-premise environments, managing greenfield and brownfield projects, and working with Agile methodologies. Additionally, you will oversee the quality of implementation projects.

Your key responsibilities

You will support clients in selecting suitable business solutions, participate in advisory projects as part of the SAP Technical Team, and conduct post-implementation reviews and project coordination.

Minimum qualifications

• Proficiency in SAP’s Clean Core strategy, including Key User, On Stack, and Side-by-Side Cloud BTP Extensibility
• Understanding of the 3 Tier Extensibility Model
• Knowledge of Clean Core WRICEFS and related development efforts
• Experience with SAP BTP services, including instance creation, binding, and deployment
• Hands-on experience with SAP BTP services and deployment strategies
• Extensive experience with Restful ABAP Programming Model
• Understanding of Cloud Application Programming Model; development experience is a plus
• Proficiency in ABAP Entity Manipulation Language and Core ABAP OOP
• Experience with Key User adaptations and In-App extensions
• Knowledge of SAP Business Accelerator Hub (ODATA, API)
• Experience with Adobe Forms, Flexible Workflow, and SAP BTP Build tools
• Familiarity with SAP BTP AI services is a plus

Additional preferred skills

• German or other European languages
• Good sense of humor
