Candidates should have at least 10 years of relevant experience, with a background in systems upgrades and cloud environments. Fluency in English is essential, and Spanish is desirable.

SAP Basis Project Manager – 12 months+ – Spain

RED Global is working with one of our key clients on a new long-term freelance opportunity for an experienced SAP Project Manager with a strong background in SAP Basis.

You'll lead complex infrastructure-related SAP projects involving system upgrades, cloud environments, and Basis operations.

Start : ASAP

Duration :

12 months + possible extension

Location :

Madrid, Spain - other locations could also be considered

Language :

English fluent, Spanish desirable

Key Requirements

10+ years of SAP Basis experience

Proven track record with installations, upgrades, system refreshes (ECC, BW / BI, PI / PO)

Expertise in complex environments (DR, BRS)

Experience working with SAP on Linux / Wintel and across HANA, Oracle, and SQL databases

Cloud experience (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)

Experience in managing Basis-related projects and audits

Strong Project Management background (risk assessment, planning, leadership, communication)

This is a Project Manager role — the successful candidate will oversee infrastructure delivery across multiple initiatives, collaborate with an existing technical team, and drive project success without being hands-on technically.
