Formación

• 10+ years of SAP Basis experience.

SAP Basis Project Manager – 12 months+ – Spain

***RED Global is working with one of our key clients on a new long-term freelance opportunity for an experienced SAP Project Manager with a strong background in SAP Basis.

You'll lead complex infrastructure-related SAP projects involving system upgrades, cloud environments, and Basis operations.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 12 months + possible extension

Location: Madrid, Spain - other locations could also be considered

Language: English fluent, Spanish desirable

Key requirements:

1. 10+ years of SAP Basis experience
2. Proven track record with installations, upgrades, system refreshes (ECC, BW/BI, PI/PO)
3. Expertise in complex environments (DR, BRS)
4. Experience working with SAP on Linux/Wintel and across HANA, Oracle, and SQL databases
5. Cloud experience (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
6. Experience in managing Basis-related projects and audits
7. Strong Project Management background (risk assessment, planning, leadership, communication)

This is a Project Manager role — the successful candidate will oversee infrastructure delivery across multiple initiatives, collaborate with an existing technical team, and drive project success without being hands-on technically.
