For REWE digital Spain , a subsidiary of REWE Group, located in the Parque Tecnológico de Andalucía (PTA) in Málaga we are looking for an SAP ARIBA Specialist for the product ‘ Indirect Spend and Procurement ’ which has a large part of its team in Malaga.

As the central solution provider for information and telecommunications systems in REWE digital Spain we plan, develop, configure, and operate efficient systems and applications for the REWE Group, one of the leading trade and tourism groups in Germany and Europe with around 390,000 employees. Our team of over 2,200 IT specialists sets standards for IT implementation in the retail industry and develops new technologies for the sector. Currently, we manage more than 80 logistics centers, 100 wide area network cables, and over 23,000 local network connections to ensure continuous data supply to the 32,000 scanner check-out desks in more than 7,500 stores.

The Product Indirect Spend and Procurement in the REWE Group encompasses the procurement of non-commercial items, such as tools, operating resources, capital goods, and services that are essential to operations and to support core processes. This type of purchasing is managed according to inventory requirements and planning for administration (e.g., laptops, cell phones, software, consulting services), for warehousing and logistics (e.g., shelving, routers, MDA devices, forklifts, trucks), for stores (e.g., shelving, freezers, routers, MDA devices, cash registers, maintenance services), and for transportation (e.g., pallets, packaging).

What you will do

• In SAP Ariba and SAP MM, you'll design and implement sustainable, innovative solutions for current and future business needs, handling everything from clarification of requirements with our users to analysis, conception, and implementation. As part of a cross-functional team, you'll manage the full product lifecycle, including documentation, testing and support.
• You think about the future : You get involved and actively participate with ideas and suggestions for improvement. As a member of an agile product team, you constantly drive "inspect and adapt" strategic topics.
• You stay on top of things and keep a constant eye on the quality of our SAP ARIBA and SAP MM processes.

What you will bring

The basis is a degree in computer science (business), economics or a comparable degree with a strong affinity for IT.

You have a minimum of three years of experience in the role of SAP ARIBA Specialist and are well versed in SAP standard and customization and parameterization capabilities.

You have experience in configuring and administering SAP ARIBA, especially the operational purchasing (guided buying, workflows, category management, supplier management, etc)

You can bring your strengths in different ways : be it requirements engineering, implementation, customization or testing.

It is a plus if you already have experience in working according to agile processes.

You have advanced English skills to be able to communicate in international product teams.

You live in Spain without the need for sponsorship.
