A consulting firm seeks a Freelance SAP ABAP Developer to enhance and support existing SAP systems in Madrid. The role requires strong SAP ABAP skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. The position allows for remote work but requires onsite presence once a week. Ideal candidates should be proactive, fluent in both Spanish and English, and available to start ASAP.

Formación

• Strong background in SAP ABAP development (classical and object-oriented).
• Experience with enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms.
• Understanding of SAP modules such as FI, MM, or SD is a plus.

Freelance SAP ABAP Developer - Madrid - Hybrid - Start ASAP

Location : Madrid, Spain (onsite presence required occasionally)

Contract : 6 months initial term, likely extensions

Start : ASAP, ideally within the next 4 weeks

Languages : Spanish and English (both required)

We are currently seeking an experienced freelance SAP ABAP Developer to support a key client based in Madrid. The project involves ongoing enhancements and support for an existing SAP landscape, with a focus on custom development, performance optimization, and integration tasks.

While much of the work can be performed remotely, the client requires onsite availability in Madrid as needed - most likely once a week , so candidates must be located in or near the area and open to attending onsite meetings when required.

Key Skills and Experience :

• Strong background in SAP ABAP development , including classical and object-oriented programming
• Experience with enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and forms
• Understanding of SAP modules such as FI, MM, or SD is a plus
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with functional teams
• Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English
