Zurich Insurance Group seeks a Senior Data Analyst for Software Asset Management to maintain and enhance SAM platforms and data tooling. You will own the SAM solution, collaborate across IT architecture, security and procurement, and apply AI-driven optimizations.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, and data analytics skills, plus experience with Flexera, Databricks, and REST/GraphQL APIs. A flexible, hybrid work model is offered in Barcelona and beyond.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of relevant technical experience.
• Strong knowledge of Software Asset Management and licensing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with SAM platforms such as Flexera (ServiceNow CMDB is a plus).
• Deep expertise in SQL, advanced data manipulation and analysis (Databricks is a plus).
• Experience with REST/GraphQL APIs for platform interoperability.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and process enhancement.
• Managed ETL processes, data warehousing, and data quality assurance.
• Administration skills for Windows, Unix/Linux and virtualization platforms.
• Analytical skills using business intelligence platforms (PowerBI is a plus).
• Track record of incorporating AI solutions into day-to-day operations.
• Strong time and project management skills.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in deploying, customizing, supporting, and improving the SAM technology and data platforms.
• Support the implementation of the SAM framework by providing technical and data-driven insights to internal and external customers.
• Apply industry best practices and share lessons learned in tools and data management within the SAM domain.
• Provide IT operational best practices and insights to facilitate successful rollout of applications across multiple platforms.
• Demonstrate familiarity with use cases across infrastructure, cloud computing, containerization, and tier-1 publisher products.
• Maintain cross-functional awareness of both downstream and upstream processes related to SAM.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in IT architecture, governance, security, operations, finance and procurement.
• Create and maintain clear, thorough documentation for transparency and knowledge management.
• Support and drive implementation of global SAM technology standards, processes, controls, reporting, and monitor performance indicators.
• Track and manage workload, ensuring deadlines and targets are met.
• Continuously improve SAM using AI capabilities to reduce manual effort, identify patterns and optimization opportunities.
• Uphold healthy code standards and best practices.

The Role

Senior Data Analyst – Software Asset Management (SAM) & Technologies Specialist. The role reports to the global Software Asset Management function and focuses on maintaining and enhancing the Flexera platform, in‑house SAM tools, and related data platforms.
