Zurich Insurance Group is seeking a technical senior SAM Data and Technologies specialist to join our global Software Asset Management function and maintain and further develop the Flexera platform, along with in-house SAM solutions and data platforms.

The role requires at least 5 years of technical SAM experience, expertise in licenses, SQL, Python, APIs, ETL, and BI tools, and fluency in English. Barcelona-based role with a flexible working model and competitive compensation.

Formación

• 5+ years of technical experience in SAM.
• Deep knowledge of SAM and licensing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Flexera; ServiceNow CMDB is a plus.
• Expertise in SQL; Databricks is a plus.
• Experience with APIs to support interoperability.
• Proficient in Python for automation.
• ETL, data warehousing, and data quality experience.
• Familiarity with Windows, Unix/Linux and virtualization.
• BI analytics with PowerBI is a plus.
• Experience applying AI solutions to day-to-day operations.
• Strong time and project management skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the application owner for SAM technology and data solutions.
• Deploy, customize, support, and improve SAM technology and data platforms.
• Contribute technical and data-driven insights to customers.
• Apply industry best practices and share lessons in tools and data management.
• Provide IT operational best practices for rollout across platforms.
• Collaborate with IT architecture, governance, security, support & operations, finance, and procurement.
• Create and maintain clear documentation for transparency and knowledge management.
• Support and drive SAM global technology standards, processes, controls, and reporting.
• Track and manage workload and deadlines.
• Leverage AI to reduce manual effort and identify optimization opportunities.
• Uphold clean code structures and standards.
