About the role :

The Sales Specialist is responsible for implementing the sales plan and developing sales of lubricant products in the designated territory in Auto FWS & OEMs. The goal is to achieve sales targets and acquire new customers within the current sales portfolio.

Key Accountabilities :

  • Prepare and implement the Auto FWS & OEMs Automotive sales strategies to meet goals and enhance growth according to the Sales Policy.
  • Manage the sales plan for existing customers to meet sales objectives and increase Castrol's market share.
  • Conduct value chain analysis by SKU, compare market pricing, and ensure margin expectations are met.
  • Develop and execute sales plans to attract new customers for the Castrol brand.
  • Coordinate with marketing departments for joint campaigns.
  • Manage marketing budgets and ensure execution aligns with plans.
  • Implement sales and marketing campaigns (promotions, training) in the region.
  • Coordinate incentive programs for Auto FWS & OEM customers.
  • Prioritize and run promotional programs for Castrol products.
  • Lead the Castrol Volume Incentive Scheme agreements regionally.
  • Oversee branding activities, POS communication, promotions, and demos for Auto FWS & OEM customers.
  • Supervise in-month performance, analyze sales reports, and identify opportunities and risks as part of the S&OP process.
  • Develop and present market insights reports.
  • Ensure customer compliance with HSSE, Product Quality, Brand, and Ethical standards.
  • Lead detailed sales plans and processes focused on acquiring new customers.
  • Adhere to bp's Code of Conduct, Values, Behaviours, and HSSE Standards.
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM effectively to manage customer relationships and build trust across organizations.
  • Use digital tools like Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, and Castrol Insights for territory management.

Education :

Bachelor's degree in relevant field.

Experience :

  • Customer and channel experience.
  • Cross-functional experience within multi-layered organizations.
  • Experience in program activation and offers.
  • Product & Services Knowledge, Customer Segmentation & Channel Management.
  • Customer Relationship Management.
  • Customer Profitability, Measuring & Demonstrating Customer Value.
  • Understanding of Contracts & Deal Closure.
