A Day in the Life

Our Structural Heart (SH) business is leading in innovation, transforming lives through Medtronic’s advanced technologies and therapies for heart valve disease. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This is a unique chance to make a meaningful impact in a high-growth, high-impact area where your work directly contributes to better patient outcomes.

In this remote role, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, drive adoption of our life-saving technologies—including TAVI and TPV products—and support the continued success of the Structural Heart business.

Responsibilities include:
  • Promoting and selling Medtronic’s products and services within your assigned geographic area and/or customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Providing technical support during implant procedures in the operating room.
  • Building and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders, including distributors and healthcare professionals.
  • Assessing needs, pursuing leads, and providing product services to maximize benefits for customers.
  • Promoting education about the company's products and services.
  • Conducting market research, including analyzing customer and competitor activities.
  • Implementing and adjusting market development plans and strategies.
  • Communicating customer feedback on new or modified products to internal teams such as R&D, Operations, and Marketing.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • University degree in life sciences, engineering (biomedical, electrical, etc.), or relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience in the healthcare/medical device industry.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (reading, speaking, writing).
  • Proficient in computer skills, with a clean driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Experience working with physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians, providing technical support in operating rooms.
  • Experience in Cath lab procedures is highly valued. Strong communication skills, ability to manage tasks effectively, and motivation to build business relationships are essential. Self-motivation and ability to work independently are required.
