Formación

  • 10+ años de experiencia en investigación clínica, preferentemente en servicios de apoyo a sitios.
  • Conocimientos de procesos de desarrollo de medicamentos y regulaciones aplicables.

Job Overview : IQVIA Site Enablement Solutions (SES) is a unique service providing site-based clinical research staff to trial sites globally. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Head, Site Enablement Solutions (SES), this director will have specific responsibilities related to the expansion and maintenance of SES services in countries outside of the US (in EMEA). This role will also be a key contributor to the SES Leadership team and collaborate with colleagues within IQVIA’s Patient and Site Centric Solutions (PSCS) team.

Responsibilities :

  1. Lead cross-functional integration between IQVIA legal, PSCS legal, regulatory, and resource supplier capabilities.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact internally and externally for OUS (Outside the US) capabilities.
  3. Identify and evaluate new countries to activate for SES services.
  4. Collaborate with Business Development (BD), Strategy, and IQVIA clinical teams to identify and prioritize new countries for evaluation.
  5. Oversee and drive to completion feasibility analysis across five pillars to support leadership decisions.
  6. Support finalization of service agreements and processes in new countries to support placement of workers.
  7. Develop and maintain a central status tool for all countries pending implementation of SES.
  8. Identify and mitigate risks with country-level delivery.
  9. Ensure local Site Enablement Leads, SES Project Leads, and SES management are apprised of country-specific considerations requiring operational differences.
  10. Develop and maintain SES-specific questions in the regulatory database.
  11. Integrate delivery of other global site-based staff by other partners within IQVIA.
  12. Support BD to increase sales of SES in existing countries.
  13. Provide client oversight for selected clients with OUS-only contracts.
  14. Support the business in identifying other gaps / risks in the delivery of SES OUS.

Qualifications :

  1. Minimum of 10 years of prior clinical research experience, preferably in site augmentation / site support services or other relevant patient and site-centric solutions (either CRO or vendor).
  2. Experience in global regulatory and start-up is preferred.
  3. Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or other scientific discipline or educational equivalent.
  4. Knowledge of drug development processes and practices at research sites.
  5. Ability to apply GCP / ICH and applicable regulatory guidelines.
  6. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
  7. Experience managing KPIs and using dashboard analytics to monitor portfolio performance.
  8. Knowledge of legal processes, hiring standards, site payments, and CTA negotiation.
  9. Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
  10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including good command of English.
  11. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  12. Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  13. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
