To build a business system with utility energy storage system research and development, product integration, and energy storage asset origination.

Main Purpose of the Role

Mars Renewable (MARS) is dedicated to the global battery storage business, with the aim to become a global leader of battery solution provider. Our team combined has established a track record of 2+ GW of grid-connected renewable projects globally.

Mars Renewable Europe Sales team is looking for a passionate and dynamic renewable energy sales leader to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong entrepreneur to advance their career to the next level. Reporting to the regional head of Europe Sales team, this position will work with cross-functional teams to deliver successful battery storage projects.

Duties and Responsibilities

Solution / Product

  1. Originate opportunities and create compelling customer proposals for energy storage solutions.
  2. Capture customer requirements, collaborate with Solution team to complete the commercial and technical proposal, deliver compelling offers for key customers.
  3. Negotiate key commercial terms with the customer and reach to close transactions.

Customer

  1. Driving account sales strategy and establish communication cadence with the extended account resources to ensure full engagement and accountability and develop relationships with key customers, channel partners, and industry stakeholders.
  2. Support and participate in business development and sales meetings with customers and represent MARS at industry conferences and professional forums.

Market

  1. Understand the go to markets dynamics, define business cases, and disseminate functional requirements with internal business and engineering colleagues.
  2. Report market activities and developments back to the company.

Requirements

  1. Relevant sales or commercial experience within the energy industry, experience within the renewable energy sector is preferred.
  2. Affinity with the renewable energy sector and a passion to learn.
  3. Desire to work collaboratively in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
  4. Knowledge of battery storage systems, grid systems, and photovoltaic power is preferred.
  5. Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills with ability to interface with a strong customer mindset.
  6. Ability to understand and synthesize complex technical product information.
  7. Good analytical, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
