Job Description

At Straumann Group, we know that the key to our growth is a high-performing sales team. The Sales Representative or Territory Manager is responsible for achieving maximum sales growth and account penetration within an assigned territory or group of customers. The Territory Manager (f/m/d) promotes, sells, and secures orders from existing and prospective customers for Straumann’s portfolio. The ideal candidate should have a strong Dental or Consultative Sales background, some commercial experience, be a quick learner with strong communication skills, and be able to showcase the Straumann Group offerings compellingly. Every potential customer is an opportunity to boost revenue, customer acquisition, and profitability. This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager.

Objectives of this Role
  1. Engage prospects through outbound calls and digital channels, presenting growth opportunities, and building relationships with key decision-makers remotely and face-to-face as required.
  2. Manage existing accounts remotely and face-to-face to ensure demand continuity and growth.
  3. Represent Straumann Group products and services, understanding account needs to identify how our solutions can meet their objectives.
  4. Overcome objections and communicate the value propositions of Straumann Group effectively.
  5. Generate leads, nurture warm prospects, and identify new opportunities, maintaining a pipeline of prospects.
  6. Contribute to organizational success by generating leads and opportunities for the broader team.
  7. Identify upselling opportunities within the existing client base.
  8. Support coverage of vacant territories remotely when needed.
Responsibilities
  1. Seek new business opportunities via phone, social media, and email to generate sales leads across the portfolio.
  2. Manage an assigned portfolio of accounts remotely and face-to-face.
  3. Qualify leads quickly (within 24 hours) from partners and marketing events via phone.
  4. Provide quotes and close sales using appropriate technology.
  5. Drive attendance at educational events based on marketing target lists via outbound calls.
  6. Use CRM and other tools diligently, ensuring data accuracy and discipline.
Required Capabilities, Skills, and Qualifications
  • Experience in the Dental Sector, helping practices grow their business, is a strong advantage.
  • Proven sales experience with a track record of exceeding targets, quoting, and closing deals.
  • Self-motivated and highly driven.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills in Spanish; professional proficiency in English is a plus.
  • Quick learner of digital technologies.
  • Well-organized with excellent administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to track progress using measurement tools.
  • Understanding of the sales process and pipeline management.
  • Resilient communication skills, with an excellent telephone manner.
  • Relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
  • Uphold and reflect the brand reputation ethically.
  • Team-oriented with a strong desire to learn and succeed.
