We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Almería, focusing on promoting and selling innovative and proprietary agricultural peptide products for use by farmers in the region. The successful candidate will combine technical agricultural knowledge with proven sales skills to build strong customer relationships and grow market share.

Plant Health Care (PHC, ) is a biological business of PI Industries ( ) and technology leader in the area of agriculture biologicals. Plant Health Care is a global company with sales in over 25 countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of farmers, cooperatives, and distributors in the Almería region.
  • Promote and sell company agricultural input products, ensuring alignment with farmers’ needs and crop requirements.
  • Provide technical product information and after-sales support to customers.
  • Conduct regular field visits, demonstrations, and trials to showcase product benefits.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal technical and marketing teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, market insights, and competitor analysis.
  • Represent the company at local agricultural events, trade fairs, and field days.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in the agricultural inputs sector (seeds, fertilizers, crop protection, or related). Biological products selling experience is preferred.
  • Strong network of farmer and distributor contacts in Almería and surrounding regions.
  • Solid understanding of intensive horticulture and greenhouse crop production common in Almería.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, with strong self-motivation and goal orientation.
Language Requirements
  • Fluent Spanish (native or near-native level).
  • Intermediate to Advanced English (oral and written) for internal communication and reporting.
Additional Requirements
  • Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the region.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
