Abbott Medical is currently looking for a Clinical Sales Representative to join our Neuromodulation division in the North of Spain (País Vasco, Navarra, La Rioja, Asturias and Cantabria).
Main Purpose of the role:
This is a sales position responsible for servicing the current customer base, ensuring consistent sales growth, and achieving sales goals and targets in the assigned territory. The role involves identifying opportunities in new accounts, gaining new business, and maintaining existing business.
The individual will handle customer complaints effectively, recommend consignment in accounts when necessary, manage logistics related to procedural support, and maintain registry data with the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve territory sales targets and individual product targets.
- Conduct sales calls, focusing on high sales areas, and develop new business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
- Manage patient follow-up post stimulator implantation when required.
- Develop and implement account sales plans to increase market penetration and establish new accounts.
- Prepare tenders and analyze sales statistics, reports, and administrative duties.
- Complete administration tasks such as customer records, forecasts, expenses, and travel plans.
- Manage samples, demo devices, promotional materials, and budgets.
- Maintain relationships with key accounts and ensure their needs are met with Abbott’s products.
- Represent Abbott professionally, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Maintain business operations in line with corporate policies regarding pricing, quotes, credit terms, and expenses.
- Provide technical support to clinicians, conduct in-service programs, and develop training programs for physicians and staff.
- Train colleagues and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Act as a Company ambassador, representing the Company with integrity.
Knowledge Skills
- Knowledge of biological, medical, and physics sciences (electricity).
- Experience attending cases in the Operating Room.
- Familiarity with patient follow-up.
- Computer skills for data reporting and correspondence.

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, such as bioengineering, nursing, or relevant industry experience.
- Preferably with prior professional selling skills.
- Over three years of relevant sales experience in the Medical Devices Industry, with Neuromodulation experience as a plus.
- High level of English proficiency.
- Willingness to travel extensively (>40%).
