Introduction

Artelier has an exciting new opportunity for a hybrid role of Sales / Marketing Coordinator and Art Consultant. Artelier is a leading Art Consultancy and Curatorial Services company with its head office in Bristol, UK, and a European office in Granada, Spain. Working internationally across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia, the company’s portfolio includes public art/exhibitions, artist estate services, private residential, yachts/aviation, corporate collections, and high-end hotels. We are a small team of 12+ friendly, worldly, passionate, and highly dedicated individuals.

The hybrid role comprises two core strands of work, which may be independent at times and seamlessly crossover at others. We seek a talented individual with a strong marketing track record, an 'eye on the prize', and a deep passion and knowledge of contemporary and modern art.

Criteria: Education & Experience

  • Degree or Master’s in marketing, business, arts-related subjects (Fine Art, History of Art, Design), or English.
  • Minimum two years post-graduate experience in successful marketing strategies.
  • Specialist knowledge in SEO and latest developments.
  • Proven ability to write engaging and effective marketing materials and articles.
  • Experience with tech, layout, and design for websites and social media platforms, including Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent graphic and design skills, with proficiency in Adobe Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Passion for modern and contemporary art, supported by professional experience post-studies.
  • Ability to write academically rigorous and contextually relevant art and design essays/critiques.

Job Requirements

  • Integrate art knowledge and industry insights into effective marketing plans.
  • Research, develop, and implement successful SEO strategies and enhance online presence.
  • Produce sophisticated, technical art and design-related writing with solid SEO structure.
  • Manage online platforms such as Pinterest and LinkedIn.
  • Create video posts and articles for LinkedIn using Buffer, and identify new opportunities for strategy development.
  • Engage in ongoing research and development in SEO, social media, and online marketing fields.
  • Identify and develop new marketing opportunities broadly.
  • Contribute to sales efforts by researching and developing new leads and contacts within the industry.

As a small company, you will also be involved in day-to-day administrative tasks to support the wider team.

Alongside marketing duties, support the company’s art research and consultancy for projects.

  • Stay informed about the latest trends in the art market, identify new talent, and adopt a research-led approach.
  • Assist with contextual research and development of artistic directions for projects, informing artwork choices.
  • Create written content for websites, brochures, and project presentations.
  • Use design software, including InDesign and Photoshop, to produce presentations and client documents.
  • Support artist estate projects with cataloging and management systems.
  • Research and expand knowledge of artistic mediums, techniques, and materials.
  • Deepen understanding of art history and broader movements, contextualizing our work.
