Introduction

Artelier has an exciting new opportunity for a hybrid role of Sales / Marketing Coordinator and Art Consultant. Artelier is a leading Art Consultancy and Curatorial Services company with its head office in Bristol, UK, and a European office in Granada, Spain. Working internationally across Europe, Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia, the company’s portfolio includes public art/exhibitions, artist estate services, private residential, yachts/aviation, corporate collections, and high-end hotels. We are a small team of 12+ friendly, worldly, passionate, and dedicated individuals.

The hybrid role combines two core areas of work, which may sometimes be independent and at other times crossover seamlessly. We seek a talented individual with a strong marketing background, a results-oriented mindset, and a deep passion and knowledge of contemporary and modern art.

Criteria: Education & Experience

  • Degree or Master's in marketing, business, arts (Fine Art, History of Art, Design), or English.
  • Minimum two years of post-graduate experience in successful marketing strategies.
  • Specialist knowledge in SEO and latest digital developments.
  • Proven ability to write engaging and effective marketing materials and articles.
  • Experience with website and social media design and layout, including Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong graphic and design skills, proficient in Adobe Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Passion for modern and contemporary art, with relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in writing academically rigorous and contextually relevant art and design essays/critiques.

  • Identify and develop new marketing opportunities.
  • Research and pursue new leads and contacts in the industry as part of sales activities.

Alongside marketing, support the company’s art research and consultancy for projects.

  • Stay informed on latest art market trends, identify new talent, and employ research-led approaches.
  • Assist with contextual research and artistic direction development for projects, informing artwork choices.
  • Create written content for websites, brochures, and presentations.
  • Use design software like InDesign and Photoshop for client and project materials.
  • Support artist estate projects through cataloging and management systems.
  • Expand knowledge of artistic mediums, techniques, and materials.
  • Deepen understanding of art history and broader movements to contextualize work.
