We are currently seeking a Sales Manager for our shopping center portfolio in Madrid, referred to as a Leasing Manager within URW.

What will your day-to-day life be like?

Reporting hierarchically to the Senior Leasing Manager and working within a team of 8, you will be responsible for one of URW's assets in Spain.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Conducting negotiations from sourcing to store opening, including renewals, lease terminations, reletting, and development projects.
  • Developing privileged partnership relationships with brands, ensuring high-quality services and interactions, and cultivating proximity with key accounts and decision-makers.
  • Gaining in-depth knowledge of your asset, its KPIs, competition, and customer profile, and staying updated on sector changes, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Sourcing and identifying new high-potential players, initiating contact, and developing relationships.
  • Participating in the Commercial Action Plan and budget discussions, sharing sector insights, key concepts, brands with potential, and formalizing strategic plans for your asset and the Spanish portfolio.

Position based in Madrid, Spain.

How to succeed in this position (soft skills + hard skills)?

Must have:

  • A university degree or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the commercial sector, ideally in distribution/retail.
  • Strong sensitivity to brands, excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, proposing innovative and creative action plans, and demonstrating conviction.
  • Ability to handle pressure and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in retail or real estate leasing/sales roles.
