A leading company in the industrial automation sector seeks an International Sales Manager to drive customer acquisition and develop business opportunities. The role involves managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, while building relationships with clients and representing the company at industry events. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in a relevant field and a strong B2B sales track record, especially in sectors like fresh produce and food processing machinery.
We are seeking a skilled and results-driven International Sales Manager to join our team. As an integral part of our sales department, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new customers, developing business opportunities, and converting them into profitable commercial success. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial automation systems, preferably in the fresh produce or food processing machinery sector. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Technology, Ag Tech, Horticulture, or related field is required. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate an affinity with technology or machine construction and possess excellent MS Office skills.
The successful candidate will be fluent in Spanish and Italian, with a professional command of English. They will be a natural negotiator with business acumen, possessing strong listening and communication skills, and able to provide appropriate solutions in consultation with clients and colleagues.
Managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring sustainable revenue growth while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
Consulting with customers, proactively thinking along with them, and translating their needs and requirements into tailored value propositions
Building and maintaining lasting relationships with dealers, distributors, and agents
Oversight of contract execution and follow-up in close cooperation with cross-functional teams
Representation of the company at trade fairs and industry events as an ambassador of the company
