About this role

Job Purpose

As Sales Manager—Human Nutrition, you’ll drive commercial success across Iberia and Tunisia, shaping Barentz’s presence in these high-potential markets. You’ll be at the heart of a dynamic and customer-focused environment where science meets strategy.

This is more than just sales—you’ll act as a trusted advisor, delivering innovative ingredient solutions to our food manufacturing partners for Bakery and Confectionery, with a strong focus on technical value and application expertise.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales in Iberia and Tunisia
  • Promote and sell ingredients to food manufacturers, emphasizing technical value
  • Provide expert advice on formulation and ingredient applications
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships via CRM/BRM systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams and report to the Area Sales Manager
  • Travel within the assigned territory (approx. 1–2 weeks per month)

About You

  • Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience, ideally in food ingredient distribution
  • In-depth knowledge of the food industry, especially in the Bakery and Confectionery segments
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a results-driven environment
  • Familiarity with import procedures and logistics is a plus
  • Fluent in Spanish, Catalan, English, and French
  • Proficient in CRM/BRM systems for managing customer pipelines and relationships
