A leading manufacturer in the Data Center sector seeks a Sales Manager to drive client relationships and sales for their advanced power solutions in Madrid. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical solution selling, a network within the Data Center ecosystem, and fluent English communication skills. This role involves customer engagements, preparing commercial offers, and leading negotiations to ensure successful deal closures.

Formación

  • Prior experience in the Data Center market with proven results.
  • Strong understanding of critical infrastructure needs (power, cooling, redundancy).
  • Autonomous, organised, results-driven, and a team player.

Sales Manager (Data Centers)- Spain - Permanent Contract

Our client was established over 100 years ago and are a leading manufacturer of diesel and natural gas engines to the Data Centre, Industrial and Maritime sector.

Specific to the Data Centre sector, our client provides modular andscalablesolutions to support diverse market requirements. Their platforms are recognised for their reliability, providing uninterrupted power and business continuity through advanced redundancy configurations.

Responsibilities:
  • Organise and lead customer calls to assess needs and qualify opportunities
  • Plan and conduct customer visits to strengthen client relationships
  • Review technical documentation andRFQsprior to internal handover
  • Prepare commercial offers tailored to customer specifications
  • Lead negotiations, demonstrate our value proposition, and close deals
  • Oversee internal order processing, coordinating with relevant departments until everything is delivered and invoiced
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in the DataCentremarket, with proven results in technical solution selling
  • A strong understanding of critical infrastructure needs (power, cooling, redundancy, etc)
  • A network of existing contacts in the DataCentreecosystem (end clients,integrators, engineering firms, etc)
  • Autonomous, organised, results-driven, and a team player across departments
  • Fluent in professional English (written and spoken)
