A leading consultancy is seeking a Sales Manager to spearhead sales initiatives for new product lines in the corrugated/containerboard industry across Spain and Portugal. The role involves building customer relationships, executing sales strategies, and managing key accounts, requiring fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Formación

We are supporting a global leader specializing in producing premium paperboard and printing pape r made from responsibly managed forest fibers in northern Europe. Our focus is on delivering sustainable, high-performance materials for packaging and publishing applications.

All products are manufactured with renewable energy from hydropower and biomass. Their mills operate with a strong commitment to sustainability and closed-loop production, ensuring materials are fully recyclable and biodegradable.

Key Responsibilities of the Sales Manager :

  • Work directly under the Manager for Sales Operations for Europe, leading sales initiatives for the new product lines across Spain and Portugal.
  • Create a market in containerboard and maintain customer relationships and identify local market activities.
  • Build on existing customer base and identify new opportunities for the portfolio.
  • Execute and monitor the sales strategy to spearhead an expansion over the next 3 years.
  • Manage and support key accounts across relevant regions, collaborating closely with European sales offices.

Key Requirements :

  • University Degree or industry experience in corrugated / relevant field
  • Deep understanding of corrugated / containerboard industry, with familiarity across main segments such as pharma, food and cosmetics.
  • Strong business acumen, relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach.
  • Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese
  • Ability to travel regularly across Europe
