JOB DESCRIPTION

Calucem is a Specialty Cement producer with around 100 years of experience in Calcium Aluminate Cement (CAC).

As a leader in calcium aluminate cement solutions, Calucem has recently renewed its visual identity to align with Molins, the parent company.

The Sales Manager is responsible for sales performance in the Southern Europe region, managing daily sales activities to meet yearly budget targets. They oversee the implementation of the Calucem Global CAC sales strategy, focusing on turnover, profitability, and distribution network development, in line with the company's Medium Term Plan. The Sales Manager reports to the CCTO and consolidates information to monitor sales performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and manage organizational sales plans covering revenue and expense controls within the region.
  • Create monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans.
  • Strive to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Track sales progress and report results regularly.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, inbound leads, and follow-up activities.
  • Establish sales territories and manage distribution channels.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new sales representatives.
  • Research customer needs and implement strategies to generate interest.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and management to evaluate and refine sales strategies.
  • Develop strategies to attract new business.
  • Analyze sales data and recommend improvements for customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Follow-up on potential sales leads.
  • Coordinate with European headquarters on lead generation and market insights.
  • Promote the organization and its products.
  • Understand target customers and their relation to our products.
  • Participate in annual budgeting and quarterly detailed forecasting.
  • Manage overdue accounts actively.
  • Attend training courses and development programs provided by the employer.
  • Adhere to all procedures, quality plans, and safety regulations, including environmental protection and hazardous waste disposal.
