We are a leading seafood company specializing in the sourcing, processing, and distribution of high-quality seafood products. With a strong presence in international markets, they are expanding their operations in Spain and are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to drive growth and build lasting relationships with clients in the region.

Job Summary

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, expand our customer base, and strengthen our brand presence in the Spanish market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in seafood sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the seafood industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy and Execution :

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base in Spain.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including distributors, retailers, and restaurants.

  • Market Analysis :

Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activities.

Analyze sales data and market conditions to adjust strategies and maximize opportunities.

  • Client Relationship Management :

Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Address client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide product information and support.

  • Product Knowledge :

Maintain in-depth knowledge of our seafood products, including sourcing, quality, and sustainability practices.

Educate clients on product benefits and unique selling points.

Work closely with the marketing, logistics, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.

Provide feedback to the product development team based on market trends and client needs.

  • Reporting and Performance Tracking :

Prepare regular sales reports, including forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance metrics.

Monitor and report on competitor activities and market trends.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience :

Minimum 5 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in the seafood industry.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

  • Industry Knowledge :

Strong understanding of the seafood market, including sourcing, processing, and distribution.

Familiarity with sustainability practices and certifications in the seafood industry.

  • Skills :

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).

  • Personal Attributes :

Self-motivated, results-driven, and customer-focused.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to travel within Spain as required.
