Overview:

  1. This role involves selling a new software solution, IDEATE, acquired by Graitec, aimed at Architects and Engineers to enhance productivity.
  2. The successful candidate will report to the Graitec Software Sales Director and collaborate with Account Managers, solution sales teams, and technical staff both in person and online.
  3. The main goal is to grow the Ideate Software business by developing relationships with strategic AEC companies, including prospects and existing customers.
  4. This is a full-time position based in Barcelona or remote, with travel to customer sites, marketing events, and Hannover for team meetings.
  5. Fluency in Spanish and English is required due to our international team.
  6. Work with Account Managers to identify target markets, define account plans, and execute strategies.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a successful sales record, be an independent and hardworking self-starter, and possess creative thinking skills. Prior experience in software sales, especially third-party solutions, is highly desirable. The role involves significant prospecting, customer engagement, and understanding of Autodesk Revit and BIM processes. Comfort working in a virtual team environment is essential.

Sales and Presentation Skills:

  • Effective sales techniques with strong business and financial understanding.
  • Responsible for developing sales plans and achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual targets, with detailed CRM documentation.
  • Proficiency in online sales presentations and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build relationships within target organizations, understanding client needs and decision-making processes.
  • Fluency in German/Spanish and English is required.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Account Managers.

Technical Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of Revit or similar BIM software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
  • Active user of LinkedIn and Sales Navigator.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Account and strategic account management – approximately 10% of time.
  • Reporting and documentation – about 5% of time.
  • Focus on new business acquisition and development, meeting sales quotas through direct sales efforts.

Interview Process:

  • Initial discussion with John, Talent Acquisition Partner.
  • Interview with a sales manager or director.
  • Final interview with Alex, Vice President of Sales.
