Overview

This exciting new role involves selling a software solution acquired by Graitec from IDEATE, designed to enhance productivity for Architects and Engineers.

The successful candidate will report to the Graitec Software Sales Director and collaborate closely with Account Managers, the solutions sales team, and technical teams, both in-person and remotely.

The main goal is to grow the Ideate Software business by cultivating, selling, and managing strategic AEC companies, including prospects and existing customers.

This full-time position is based in Barcelona or remote, requiring travel to customer sites, marketing events, and Hannover for team meetings.

Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory, as our teams work globally to serve clients.

Responsibilities include working with Account Managers to define target markets, develop account plans, and execute strategies.

Responsibilities

We seek a candidate with a proven sales record, a history of consistent sales success, independence, creativity, and a strong work ethic. Prior experience in software sales, especially third-party solutions, is highly desirable. The role involves significant prospecting, sales interactions, and understanding of Autodesk Revit and BIM processes. Comfort working in virtual teams is essential.

Sales and Presentation Skills:

  • Effective selling skills with business and financial acumen.
  • Responsibility for developing sales plans and achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual targets, with diligent CRM documentation.
  • Proficiency in online sales presentations, written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to build relationships within target organizations, understanding prospect and client needs, workflows, and decision-making processes.
  • Fluency in German/Spanish and English is required.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Account Managers.

Technical Skills:

  • Solid knowledge of Revit or other BIM software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
  • Active user of LinkedIn and Sales Navigator.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Account and strategic account management – 10%
  • Reporting and documentation – 5%

This role focuses on new business acquisition and development, with quota-driven direct sales.

  2. Interview with a sales manager or sales director.
  3. Interview with Alex, Vice President of Sales.
