Overview

  • This role involves selling a new software solution, IDEATE, acquired by Graitec for Architects and Engineers, designed to enhance customer productivity.
  • The successful candidate will report to the Graitec Software Sales Director and work closely with Account Managers, solution sales teams, and technical staff, both in-person and remotely.
  • The main goal is to expand the Ideate Software business by developing relationships with strategic AEC companies, including prospects and existing customers.
  • This full-time position is based in Barcelona or remote, with travel to customer sites, marketing events, and Hannover for team meetings.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required due to our international team.
  • Work with Account Managers to identify target markets, define account plans, and execute strategies.

Responsibilities

We seek a candidate with a proven sales record, independence, creativity, and experience in software sales, particularly third-party solutions. Knowledge of Autodesk Revit and BIM is essential, along with comfort working in virtual teams.

Sales and Presentation Skills :

  • Strong selling skills with business and financial understanding.
  • Responsible for developing sales plans and achieving targets, with detailed CRM documentation.
  • Excellent online presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships, understand client needs, workflows, and decision-making processes.
  • Fluency in German / Spanish and English is required.
  • Collaborative mindset with Account Managers.

Technical Skills :

  • Deep knowledge of Revit or similar BIM software.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel.
  • Active user of LinkedIn / Sales Navigator.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Account management and strategic account development – 10%
  • Reporting and documentation – 5%
  • Overall focus on new business acquisition and quota-driven direct sales.

  • Initial discussion with John, Talent Acquisition Partner.
  • Interview with a sales manager or director.
  • Interview with Alex, Vice President of Sales.
  • Final interview stage.
