Formación

We are looking for a Sales Engineering Lead to manage and mentor our expanding, high-impact presales team. The team spans multiple time zones and supports global customer opportunities. You'll blend technical expertise with leadership, supporting large telco and ISP clients through our presales process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a distributed Presales Team (currently 3.5 FTEs), ensuring performance against KPIs.
  • Drive technical strategy in customer engagements—working with Account Executives, Product, and Engineering to tailor solutions.
  • Lead customer-facing technical presentations, RFI / RFP responses, and proofs-of-concept.
  • Collaborate with customers to assess needs and design integration architectures.
  • Help shape hiring, onboarding, and development processes for the presales team.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics.
  • Travel (up to 1x / month) across the EMEA region for key customer meetings and events.

Must-Have skills :

  • Proven leadership experience in presales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting.
  • Strong understanding of Linux (admin-level).
  • Good knowledge of internet protocols (DNS experience is bonus).
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and mentoring skills.

Bonus skills (Nice to have) :

  • Background in network security or telco environments.
  • Experience with DNS resolver technologies (Knot, PowerDNS, Unbound).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash).
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs, networking, firewalls, routing, and switching.
