The Opportunity: As a high-performing Sales Engineer or Senior Sales Engineer, you will collaborate with prospects and clients to develop enterprise-wide cloud data security and data risk management solutions. This consultative role requires deep analytical skills and business process expertise, with the ability to craft insightful solutions using Cyera’s technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue through large, complex sales opportunities that leverage Cyera’s capabilities and value proposition.
  • Identify client business issues and desired outcomes; design information availability solutions utilizing Cyera's products and services.
  • Conduct proof of values (PoV) and Use Case Demos (UCD) on customer sites, engaging with key stakeholders, and facilitating technical demonstrations to support sales.
  • Coordinate internal resources via cross-functional communication to support a sustainable, repeatable sales model.
  • Act as the technical contact for the partner channel and represent Cyera at marketing events.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in Cloud, TDR, CASB, DLP, or data security roles such as Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud environments, especially AWS and/or Azure, regarding roles, permissions, and APIs.
  • Basic network and database knowledge.
  • Understanding of data storage, encryption, key management, cloud IAM, and network design.
  • Familiarity with ML/AI, data regulations, privacy, and data retention frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with SFDC and opportunity tracking.
  • Results-driven with a desire to thrive in a fast-growing startup environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory.

Preferred Certifications:

  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals.
  • AWS Solution Architect (Associate or Professional), AWS Cloud Security Engineer/Architect.
  • Azure Administrator or Security Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect.
  • CCSP - Certified Cloud Security Professional.
