Job summary

Zendesk, Inc. is seeking a Sales Engineer to shape AI-driven CX and ES solutions for leading brands. You will lead technical and business discovery, design tailored demos, and own end-to-end engagements from qualification to pilot execution.

You will translate AI capabilities into clear business narratives for IT to the C-suite, architect scalable, secure solutions, and collaborate across teams to align with Zendesk’s roadmap. Travel as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of presales or solutions consulting experience in SaaS, CX, or enterprise software.
• Strong knowledge of web/scripting technologies and SaaS architectures.
• Proven experience designing and executing customer pilots and proofs of concept.
• Deep understanding of AI technologies (LLMs, ChatGPT, NLP) and their practical applications in CX.
• Expertise in CCaaS, Customer Service software, ITSM, BI, or Integration & Middleware.
• Strong analytical and storytelling abilities; connect technical capabilities to business impact.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and writing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (graduate degree a plus).
• Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical & business discovery sessions to understand customer challenges and design tailored demos.
• Architect AI-driven CX & ES solutions; translate AI capabilities into business narratives.
• Own end-to-end technical engagement through design, pilots, and value realization.
• Architect secure, scalable solutions leveraging Zendesk APIs and cloud platforms.
• Collaborate across teams to align customer needs with the product roadmap.
• Measure ROI using Zendesk analytics and AI performance metrics.
• Champion AI adoption with Customer Success and drive new capabilities.
• Stay ahead by continuously expanding expertise in AI and CX technologies.
