Sales Engineer – 5G Cybersecurity (Spain)

Overview

5G connectivity is driving the adoption of AI and IoT applications, accelerating digital transformation across industries. Securing 5G / IoT networks is critical for enterprises operating mission-critical systems and ensuring sustainable growth.

Trend Micro has pioneered cybersecurity solutions across IT, OT, and CT (Communication Technology) networks based on private 5G / IoT technologies. To further strengthen this focus, CTOne , a 100% Trend Micro-owned subsidiary, was established to lead the 5G / IoT cybersecurity business. As we expand into key markets and build a strong partner ecosystem, we are looking for a Sales Engineer based in Spain to support our European growth.

This role will be responsible for demonstrating CTOne's technical capabilities , engaging with ecosystem partners and end-users, and closely collaborating with the Sales & Business Development Manager in Spain, as well as CTOne’s global Product Development and Marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Specialize in CTOne 4G / 5G / IoT cybersecurity , primarily covering Spain and select European markets (e.g., Germany).
  • Deliver compelling technical and functional sales presentations showcasing CTOne’s latest innovations.
  • Develop use case demonstrations based on CTOne solutions.
  • Lead proofs of concept (PoCs) with regional partners and end-users.
  • Provide technical enablement and support for regional partners.
  • Support sales engagements to ensure objectives are met through technical sales coaching.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical role within IT networking or telecommunications.
  • Strong knowledge of 3G / 4G / 5G cellular mobile networks and private 5G networks .
  • Deep understanding of data network communication technologies .
  • Hands-on experience with :
  • Linux OS, networking, and virtualization (KVM, VMware, OpenStack, Kubernetes).
  • Public cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure).
  • Experience in the cybersecurity industry is a plus.
  • Ability to collaborate across geographies and time zones.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for startup environments.
  • Self-motivated, curious, and adaptable to new challenges.
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed for projects.
