What will you do in this role?

To support the company’s growth, we seek a Sales Director to join our Government Solutions Sales team in Europe.

  1. Your primary focus will be on selling ICEYE's SAR-derived Natural Catastrophe solutions, providing government organizations with quick emergency recovery response capabilities.
  2. Utilize your successful experience in exploring & selling into new markets and collaborating with team members and stakeholders to identify growth opportunities.
  3. Lead generation and management of the existing sales pipeline will be your responsibility, along with developing key relationships within Government agencies & organizations. Additionally, leverage your existing network to identify and close opportunities.
  4. Develop long-term sales pipeline and client success strategies in your regions.
  5. Collaborate closely with various PAN European Government Agencies throughout your Region, including but not limited to: Sovereign Response & Recovery Agencies in Europe, European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), Copernicus Emergency Services, and other potential partners.

Requirements

Must have :

  1. Extensive expertise in Government Sales within the European market
  2. A proven track record in successfully selling GIS data and/or solutions to European Governments
  3. Ability to confidently identify, strategically target, and penetrate untapped markets across Europe
  4. Proven experience working with Government Services and a strong network of contacts
  5. Ability to expand and manage a sales portfolio, closing deals with governmental clients
  6. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently, especially during emergency situations
  7. Minimum of 5-7 years in sales and business development
  8. Willingness to work remotely and travel frequently
  9. Excellent command of written and spoken English and Spanish

Preferred to have :

  1. Extensive network & experience in Government Sales within Spanish Organizations and Governments
  2. Experience selling into (Spanish) Civil Protection Services, Organizations, NatCat, Crisis, Disaster response, or emergency services
  3. Experience in geospatial or emergency management
  4. Strong network at Sovereign Response & Recovery Agencies in Europe, Copernicus Emergency Services, and other partners
  5. Connections within the European Commission and/or ESA
  6. Salary will be discussed during the initial contact; contingent on experience
