What will you do in this role?

To support the company’s growth, we seek a Sales Director to join our Government Solutions Sales team in Europe.

  • Your primary focus will be on selling ICEYE's SAR-derived Natural Catastrophe solutions, providing government organizations with quick emergency recovery response capabilities.
  • Utilize your successful experience in exploring & selling into new markets and collaborating with team members and stakeholders to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead generation and management of the existing sales pipeline will be your responsibility, along with the development of key relationships within Government agencies & organizations. Additionally, you will leverage your existing network to identify and close opportunities.
  • Develop long-term sales pipeline and client success strategies in your regions.
  • Collaborate closely with various PAN European Government Agencies throughout your Region, including but not limited to: Sovereign Response & Recovery Agencies in Europe, European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), Copernicus Emergency Services, and other potential partners.

Requirements

Must have :

  • Extensive expertise in Government Sales within the European market
  • A proven track record in successfully selling GIS data and/or solutions to European Governments
  • Ability to confidently identify, strategically target, and penetrate untapped markets across Europe
  • Proven experience working with Government Services and a strong network of contacts
  • Ability to expand and manage a sales portfolio, consistently closing deals with governmental clients
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently, thriving in fast-paced environments and supporting emergency situations
  • Minimum 5-7 years of sales and business development experience
  • Willingness to work remotely and travel frequently
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Spanish

Preferred to have :

  • Extensive network & experience in Government Sales within Spanish Organisations and Governments
  • Experience selling into Spanish Civil Protection Services, Organisations, NatCat, Crisis, Disaster response, Disaster recovery, or emergency services
  • Experience in geospatial or emergency management
  • Strong network at Sovereign Response & Recovery Agencies throughout Europe, Copernicus Emergency Services, and/or other partners
  • Network at the European Commission and/or ESA
  • Salary will be discussed during the initial contact, based on experience.
