Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sales Development Representative (US Market) based in Spain.

As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a key role in driving business growth by connecting with technology leaders at innovative US companies and generating qualified sales opportunities. You will take ownership of your prospecting pipeline, using cold calls, email outreach, LinkedIn, and creative outbound strategies to build meaningful relationships with CTOs, CPOs, and other decision-makers. Working directly with senior leadership, you will have the freedom to experiment with messaging, refine your sales approach, and turn promising conversations into business opportunities. You will focus on high-potential sectors such as FinTech, HealthTech, Cybersecurity, EdTech, and SaaS, helping organizations discover tailored software development solutions. Beyond outbound sales, you will develop your professional presence online and represent the business at industry events. This remote, performance-driven opportunity offers uncapped commission, close collaboration with experienced leaders, and a clear pathway toward an Account Executive role. The position is open to candidates across Europe who can work with at least four hours of overlap with US Pacific Time.

Accountabilities:
  • Generate new business opportunities: Proactively contact CTOs, CPOs, and other technology decision-makers at US companies through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
  • Own the sales development pipeline: Manage the prospecting process from initial outreach through qualification and meeting booking, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality opportunities.
  • Design and optimize outbound campaigns: Build, execute, and refine personalized outreach sequences across multiple channels, experimenting with messaging, opening lines, and engagement strategies to improve conversion rates.
  • Identify and qualify target accounts: Research and build targeted prospect lists across FinTech, HealthTech, Cybersecurity, EdTech, and SaaS, prioritizing companies that could benefit from custom software development services.
  • Engage technical decision-makers: Communicate the value of software development and AI-related services in a credible, relevant way, adapting your messaging to the needs and challenges of technical buyers.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership: Hand qualified prospects over to the Director of Partnerships with detailed context, ensuring smooth transitions and productive initial sales conversations. Work closely with the co-founder and senior stakeholders to refine prospecting strategies.
  • Build a professional online presence: Develop your personal brand on LinkedIn and other relevant channels through thoughtful content, professional engagement, and activities that attract the attention of US technology leaders.
  • Represent the business at industry events: Attend relevant conferences in the United States, build relationships with potential clients, and convert networking opportunities into qualified meetings.
  • Maintain accurate sales records: Keep CRM data up to date, track outreach activities and results, and document successful approaches so that effective practices can be replicated across the team.
  • Share insights and continuously improve: Analyze performance, identify promising outreach methods, and share successful tactics with colleagues to strengthen overall sales development effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Relevant sales experience: One to three years of experience as a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Business Development Representative (BDR), with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong cold-calling skills: Practical experience making outbound calls and the confidence to initiate conversations with unfamiliar prospects daily. You should enjoy engaging new people and be comfortable handling objections.
  • Technical sales experience: Previous experience selling services to technical buyers, ideally within software development, technology consulting, or related B2B environments.
  • Understanding of technology: Ability to learn quickly and speak credibly with CTOs and other technical stakeholders about software development, AI, and the challenges involved in building digital products.
  • Outbound prospecting expertise: Experience creating targeted prospect lists, developing multichannel outreach sequences, and managing a pipeline independently. Familiarity with tools such as Clay, HubSpot, or similar prospecting and CRM platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong English communication: Native-level written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate confidently, persuasively, and professionally with US-based decision-makers.
  • Self-motivation and accountability: A proactive, independent mindset, with the discipline to organize your own activities, take responsibility for results, and find solutions without waiting for detailed instructions.
  • Goal-oriented attitude: A competitive, results-driven approach, with the ambition to exceed assigned targets and continuously improve performance.
  • Relationship-building skills: A sociable, engaging personality and the ability to build rapport with prospects through phone conversations, online interactions, and in-person networking.
  • Personal branding interest: Genuine motivation to develop a professional presence on LinkedIn and use content and engagement to establish credibility with potential clients.
  • Time-zone flexibility: Willingness to work US business hours and maintain at least four hours of overlap with US Pacific Time while working remotely from Europe.
  • Additional advantages: An established LinkedIn presence, experience with prospecting tools such as Clay or HubSpot, and willingness to travel to the United States approximately twice per year are considered assets.
Benefits:
  • Competitive earning potential: Uncapped commission, offering the opportunity to increase your earnings in line with sales performance.
  • Remote work flexibility: Work remotely from anywhere in Europe, subject to the required overlap with US Pacific Time.
  • Long-term engagement: A long-term B2B contract opportunity within a growing software development and technology services environment.
  • Direct leadership access: Work closely with the co-founder and Director of Partnerships, gaining valuable exposure to business development strategy and senior-level sales conversations.
  • Structured onboarding: Receive an introduction to the service offering, client portfolio, and project case studies during your first month, helping you build the knowledge needed to engage confidently with technical buyers.
  • Career progression: A clear development path toward an Account Executive role, with opportunities to expand your commercial responsibilities over time.
  • International networking: Opportunities to attend US industry conferences, connect with technology leaders, and build relationships in the American technology market.
  • Professional brand development: Encouragement to grow your LinkedIn presence, strengthen your professional reputation, and establish yourself within the technology sales community.
  • Autonomy and ownership: Freedom to develop your own prospecting strategies, test new approaches, and take responsibility for your pipeline and results.
  • Collaborative environment: Work with experienced professionals in a results-oriented culture that values experimentation, initiative, and continuous improvement.
