Individuals who are eager to learn, embrace challenges, and are passionate about succeeding will thrive at Preply. Our Sales Development Representatives act as the initial point of contact and are responsible for hunting and qualifying leads to build sales opportunities for the team.

What you'll be doing:
  • Reaching out to potential prospects using all channels (LinkedIn, large focus on calls, emails, video, offline activities)
  • Qualifying prospects through consultative selling while leveraging BANT criteria
  • Growing top of sales funnel through warm and cold outbound campaigns
  • Researching companies and adding prospects to our outbound list
  • Becoming a product expert across our entire platform and understanding our competitor landscape
  • Maintaining accurate client relationship data within CRM
  • Developing a detailed knowledge of the Preply B2B offerings
  • Identifying pain points and understanding the needs of potential clients based on ICP criteria
  • Driving outbound sales efforts, focusing on high-volume, high-quality prospecting to generate pipeline
  • Reaching out to prospects through various channels (with an emphasis on cold calling, following Preply Sales playbook guidelines) to schedule meetings for our Account Executives
  • Working closely and collaboratively with the Account Executive in strategically outbounding to big accounts, ensuring consistent pipeline generation
  • Qualifying new leads: This is your primary focus! You'll use our own sales qualification framework and learn BANT methodology to ensure leads meet the criteria required to move forward in our sales funnel
  • Being highly proactive in follow-ups, objection handling, and pipeline nurturing to maximize conversion rates
  • Being an important member of the team whose insights matter - one of our core values is Collaboration and we value your inputs to keep perfecting
What you need to succeed:
  • Fluent German & English
  • Experience in outbound sales is preferred, including cold calling, and confidence in engaging decision-makers unfamiliar with Preply
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to stay motivated and focused while managing a high volume of outreach
  • Demonstration of strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management at prospective accounts
  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven role where success is measured by outbound activity, pipeline generated, and meetings booked
  • Empathy, curiosity, attention to detail, a results-driven mindset, and friendliness
  • Good self-organization and time management skills
