Job Description:

Tired of the 9-to-5 grind? Imagine a world without borders, where opportunities are endless. That's the future of work, and we're building it at WorkMotion. Our all-in-one HR platform makes it easy to hire and manage global teams, ensuring compliance and streamlining processes. So whether you're a digital nomad or a remote-first company, we've got you covered.

Ready to join the future of work? Let's build something amazing together. As we value work-life balance, please only apply if you're based within 2 hours of the Central European Timezone.

Our Sales Team is looking for a highly motivated, well-organized, and success-driven communicator to join us as a Business Development Representative (BDR). In this role, you will be responsible for initiating first contact with potential clients, actively driving outbound lead generation, and building a high-quality sales pipeline.

You’ll work closely with Sales Campaign Managers and your Team Lead to refine target lists and identify high-potential leads. Through strategic outreach, you’ll engage decision-makers and potential users of our product, helping to convert prospects into long-term clients.

What you will do as a Business Development Representative (BDR)
  1. Lead Identification: Research and identify high-potential prospects to support a strategic outbound approach.
  2. Outbound Prospecting: Execute multi-channel outreach campaigns (calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.) to initiate conversations and engage potential clients.
  3. Lead Qualification: Assess inbound and outbound leads based on needs, budget, and fit for WorkMotion’s services.
  4. Pipeline Development: Nurture potential clients, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality leads for the Sales Team.
  5. Sales Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives, Sales Campaign Managers, and your Team Lead to prioritize accounts and ensure seamless handovers.
  6. CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, pipeline progress, and sales activities in HubSpot.
  7. Market Insights: Provide feedback from prospects to improve messaging, sales strategies, and go-to-market positioning.
What we are looking for…
  1. Outstanding Communication & Persuasion: You excel at engaging people, sparking meaningful conversations, and confidently influencing decision-makers, including C-level executives.
  2. Self-Starter with Resilience & Drive: You take initiative, work independently, and remain motivated to exceed targets - even when faced with rejection.
  3. Proactive & Adaptable: You thrive in a fast-paced sales environment, quickly learning and adjusting to new challenges while staying structured and organized.
  4. Sales Mindset & Curiosity: You genuinely want to understand customer pain points and find solutions that bring value.
  5. Outbound Sales Readiness: Whether you already have experience in outbound sales (cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn outreach) or are eager to learn, you’re ready to dive in and grow.
  6. Language & Professionalism: Native-level proficiency in Dutch and English (ideally with US-American accent), ensuring effective communication in sales interactions. (Swiss or Austrian) German is a plus.

Desirable (but not required):

  1. Sales Experience: First exposure to a customer acquisition role (e.g., BDR, SDR in SaaS, Outdoor Sales, Brand Ambassador, or Street Promoter).
  2. Outbound Sales Skills: Some experience with prospecting, lead qualification, or pipeline management is a plus.
  3. CRM Familiarity: Basic knowledge of HubSpot or similar CRM tools to track and manage sales activities.
  4. Business & Market Awareness: An interest in SaaS, global hiring trends, or the remote work industry.
Our benefits and perks…
  1. Global, remote, and thriving: We're a global team of talented individuals spread across 26 countries. Our WorkFlex program lets you work from anywhere, anytime. Whether it's a beachside office or a cosy home office, the choice is yours.
  2. Your well-being is our priority: We know mental health matters, which is why we offer a dedicated Well-Being Day—a full day off just to recharge and relax.
  3. Get fit and stay active: Whether it’s yoga, weightlifting, or a quick jog—work out on your terms, at a discount with our subsidised gym memberships.

  6. Diversity is our superpower: We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer, committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
