Formación

Job Title : Sales Development Manager – Monogastric Animal Nutrition (Spain)

Department : Commercial – Monogastric Division (Poultry & Swine)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Sales Development Manager to lead commercial growth in the monogastric sector in Spain, focusing on poultry (75%) and swine (25%). The role involves engaging with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities in animal nutrition, additives, enzymes, and biosecurity across key regions including the Mediterranean Arch, Andalucía, Aragón, and Castilla La Mancha.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development in the monogastric sector, especially within the poultry segment (layers and broilers).
  • Lead sales negotiations related to premixes, feed additives, enzymes, and biosecurity solutions.
  • Promote the company’s portfolio and tailor value-added solutions for clients.
  • Maintain and grow a strong customer base through follow-up, relationship-building, and strategic prospecting.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client needs in nutrition, animal health, and farm management.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications & Experience :

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine, Agricultural Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven sales experience in the monogastric animal nutrition market in Spain, with a focus on poultry.
  • Solid knowledge of animal nutrition, pathology, and production management.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.

Valued Additional Experience :

  • Previous roles in premix, feed additives, pharmaceutical, genetic, or production companies.
  • Experience with slaughterhouses or processing companies, especially where strategic relationships were developed.

Additional Requirements :

  • Flexibility to travel extensively within Spain (up to 65%).
  • Strong interpersonal skills : empathy, teamwork, and collaboration.
  • Willingness to relocate to a preferred region if not already based there.
