Responsibilities
As a Category Manager on the Sam’s Club Team, you will deliver strategic insight in support of PepsiCo’s Beverage North America Sales Team. Specifically, this role will work to identify category trends, competitive threats, brand strategies and customer strategies to penetrate new and emerging opportunities.
Primary responsibility of this role is to be a thought leader and “go-to” resource for all category, shopper and consumer trends, and merchandising solutions for the Customer Sales Team. Using POS, Syndicated, and Panel data, analyze category across markets, shoppers, and consumers to make business-building recommendations for both portfolio and category growth.
Secondary responsibilities include leveraging multiple data sources to gain a deep understanding of consumer and shopper behavior and interactions across products, geographies, cohorts, and occasions. This analysis will be used to drive the Customer Team’s strategic planning process.
