THE POSITION

As EMEA Sales Acquisition Manager, you will play a vital role in developing, implementing, and executing strategies to attract and acquire new Ceco-Partners, primarily distributors and retailers.

You will be a pioneer, door opener, and hunter, joining a newly created international Sales Group that will establish the foundation for new distribution partner acquisition within your assigned region and priority markets. Leveraging digital data-driven insights, you will optimize the quality and speed of acquisitions, fueling business expansion.

For each market, you will take ownership by identifying, assessing, initiating first contacts, onboarding the best distributors and/or retailers for each product group and sales channel, and managing the process from initial contact to first order and transition to your sales teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Market research: Identify market specifics and strategically establish the product/channel country map composed of top-performing distributors that can collaborate without territorial conflicts on a complementary basis.
  • Document the company's summary, strengths, and weaknesses of each targeted distributor.
  • Align on the reasons and methods to progress toward consensus choices.
  • Initiate contacts and conduct due diligence assessments at distributor locations, their markets, and clients.
  • Onboard distributors and facilitate their transition to go-live and first order stages, then transition to the Sell-In and Sell-Out teams.
  • Build strong relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization.
  • Identify, launch, and execute efficient projects within the assigned countries.
  • Create opportunities to meet and exceed market expectations. Be an expert on products, customers, and consumers; understand the competitive landscape regarding pricing, products, and placement to guide distributor choices.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of accounts' P&L and specificities.
REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 5 years of partner-based sales and marketing management experience within the zone, or a strong background in retail combined with market research, or extensive marketing/research expertise, or experience in the consulting industry.
  • Multi-retail channel sales experience with a product-oriented mindset.
  • Proven success in commercial negotiations within household appliances or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
  • Experience and knowledge of EU, Americas, or APAC retailer trade environments (physical and digital).
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other European languages is desirable.
  • Fluent Spanish is a plus.

The role can be based in any country within the EMEA region.
