The Account Manager serves as sales, business development, and renewals support for the Regional Account Executive, helping the Regional team to achieve success through quota attainment and customer retention.

You will leverage your customer management, business and sales acumen, and technical skills to ensure you achieve the required customer renewal targets for your book of business. You will work closely with Customer Success and the Account Executive to ensure renewals are managed and processed appropriately. Performing business development activities to build pipeline for the Regional team and working closely with the Account Executive to close new logos.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the cybersecurity industry, a consultative approach to working with customer stakeholders, and a passion for sales and business development.

Here’s what you’ll do :

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships at all levels within the customer organization
  • Develop technical proficiency related to use cases, technical landscape, and Synack solutions
  • Perform outreach to prospects and conduct discovery calls
  • Build and expand our enterprise pipeline with emphasis on new logos
  • Prospect into new and existing client base to discover opportunities and upsell
  • Facilitate technical conversations and overcome objections with technical stakeholders
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to progress sales efforts
  • Work closely with the marketing team and Account Executive to plan industry and partner events
  • Keep accurate records of sales activity and forecast pipeline in SFDC and Clari

Here’s what you’ll need :

  • At least 3-5 years of junior account management and/or Business Development experience in the Cyber Security or Technology Industry
  • Knowledge of information security; general awareness of best practices, security risk management, and industry trends
  • Ability to identify leads within existing client base and help grow customers
  • Customer-first mindset and advocacy
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across functions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in in-person and virtual presentations
